In summer 2024 the MCA carried out a national inspection campaign specifically on UK registered Workboats. Many member’s vessels were inspected, and feedback was overall positive; there was a lot learned and shared by both operators and inspectors.

FLiDAR Workshop – Seawork
The G+, IMCA and the Workboat Association are holding a joint workshop at Seawork, on 10th June at 12:30, to discuss the: Risks, challenges and opportunities from FLiDAR buoy operations in the offshore wind industry. The short workshop is particularly aimed at those who have experience lifting, placing or transporting FLiDAR buoys.
