Following last year’s public consultation, we’re pleased to announce that the MCA has now published an updated version of the High Speed – Offshore Service Craft Code for vessels under 500 tonnes.
The revised HS-OSC code can now be found online here, and has been published alongside responses to the comments received during the consultation.
This up to date version should now be used by all members wishing to build or refit a vessel under the Code. To support its members, the NWA has created a list of hints and pointers for those looking to do so – which will shortly be made available in the Guidance section of the members’ area.
In order to keep this guidance up to date, we encourage all operators who undertake the HS-OSC registration process to advise the Secretary of any additional hurdles or hitches they face.
